Paris and The Mysterious Woman (inspired by my friend, the Poet Lily Mae)

Come sip the wine
Of the mysterious woman
Who takes my thoughts
To rainy days in Paris
And the sound of the violin playing
Melodies of lost love;
That echo softly
on cobblestone sidewalks.
And under a red umbrella
She waits out the rain
Standing still within the movement
And colours that surround her
Like a model in a Renoir painting
Her eyes are gloriously lost
To her moment so sublime
Having visions of the sun
As clouds move slowly by

Highly romantic and inspirational, this means the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative, congrats dear VIP poet Christopher Correia,

wow Cherie, thanks for the encouragement, self doubt still constantly haunts me with poetry, honestly I have very little idea of how a reader may see a particular write...I obviously believe that a write is good enough to post, but I can't speak for a reader.  So your comments are incredibly valuable to me, and I will not bring up the idea of payment ever again, lol.  Sincerely thank you for the comment.  Â
Well, I have to say you do a great job of creating a vision within the readers minds..so vivid..so lucid and fluid..I felt as though I was right there..your words effectively created the image I think you were going for..this was just so good that I'm a bit speechless..lost for words..amazing job 5 stars my friend bravo..bravo indeed!
Curious
I'm relieved you like the poem, Lily Mae....I'm not sure what to tell you about the inspiration part, other than your poetry connects with me on many levels, and as a fan I'm allowed to get inspired by the words of a poet I love reading, lol...I'm more than overjoyed that you like it though, you're a great poet who doesn't consider herself a great poet, that in itself is incredibly inspiring to me, and mysterious as well. Thank you so much for the honesty you share in your great writes, and the comment means more than I can say....cheers, Lily Mae.  Â
Williamsji wow, thank you my friend for saying these things, I'm not a humble man, but I feel honoured by every word you say, truly your comments are the ultimate pat on the back, and I'll say it again that you were the first person on this site to make a comment on something I posted, and I committed your words to memory for the most part; 'try to shorten your verses and rhyme when possible' Â I've never written a poem without thinking about those words....cheers, and thanks for reading me.
Curious thank you so much for reading me, love the way you comment my friend...you write amazing poetry and take the time to leave detailed and superb comments, I have so much respect for you as an artist, thanks again...cheers
Hey Chris!!.......I am so sorry I've been missing your writes lately...........some damage at home......but.......I am so glad I caught this in the middle of watching the Billboard Music Awards..........you my friend are heading right into the hallowed ground...........this write is a painting my friend.........a truly lovely Renoir........when I read this I had to swallow twice...........it hit me hard.......and I am still trying to grasp what just occurred............absolutely stunning piece of work my friend..............kisses..........T xo
ps. gonna go back over some of your writes right now!!...........later.......T xo
T, the Billboard Music Awards are on, I had no idea, I have this obsession with awards shows....I don't really know what to say T, like I said in a previous comment I really appreciate being on this site, cause honestly I can't tell how poetry translates to the reader, it sounds weird but it's true....hey man I don't take anything you say for granted, feedback is gold; good or bad....  I was reading just the other day about critique packages being offered on the net, for books and poetry.... this is serious business mon; as they say in Jamaica, lol....I know you'll kick me in the arse if I post something flat....hugz and kisses, big brother
Hey Flower, so true Lily Mae is an extraordinary artist and indeed she is awesome, not sure how much I did in this write, the words seem to move together, I'm lazy so writing under her inspiration was quite easy...thank you my friend, it means a lot to me that you said that....cheersÂ
