The Passing of the Owl

Romeo and Juliet in parallel instance
No plaque named crest, yet fallen fate in distance
3700 miles, excuse me as i lay the tiles
for money to get to you.
Three lives at hand, my own are two
Enlightened day first looked at you
transcended mountains blazing blue
Love in mere days time, feel free to chime
of addiction laced of madness
"Tread cautiously my fallen son
for you will be the only one
Foreign options closer to home,
too late for this you could have flown..."
Fly with me, oh little one
Forget the heat of burning sun
Tighten our deepened sudden ties
as I bathe inside your gentile eyes
Keep me from showers, drowned in thought
If only in love I was sooner taught
My dream of Belgium, my stolen peace
As I miss the taste of her soft smiles crease

Part I of a three poem series i wrote about a girl i met in Mexico from Belgium, part II is the Revival of the Owl in which i found out she had lied about something and we got in a fight...the last i will post soon. The Owl resembles truth throughout. enjoy
