Poem -

Passsion

You don't remember me,
But I, I remember you,
You with the shining eyes.
Your eyes that show so much yet not enough
Enough for the world to know your thoughts
But hide your emotions.
Emotions, emotions that just take the best of you
Can I just hold you tight in my arms and never let go?
Can I just kiss your lips one last time before you go?
Can I?
Can I turn away once you turn around?
Will I be able to take that step further away after we let go?
Will we be able to move forward
Into future without longing for the past?
Emotions, emotions that take over without notice
Without warning.
Emotions of the past to let go of
To move into the future of tomorrow, without you.
