Past Revisited
Recalling right wrong

Past revisited.
One evening ,I sit down alone unassuming,
Peeping through the veil ,back in my past,
How I wish, mend my mistakes, make it right?
Will this old me ,regain my vital years elapsed.
Inquest the life,I have lived up to the visions?
I had taken many a decisions fast and slow.
Some were right ,some doubtful, others wrong.
Benefited or not ,me my family and associates.
Played with the emotions of mine or dear ones.
Hitting hard to hearts, times cursed and applaud.
Drove them from metropolis to cities and town.
Has wandering aided my growth, children career?
Now nothing apart ,diabetes and blood pressureÂ
Can’t sire any child wellbeing and future shaped
Am I a true definition of miserably failed human
My god forgive all my err ,give solace at thy feet.

What soberingvthoughts you conjure in your reader. I think the majority of the human race will one day ask themselves the same things as you do here...should they live long enough. We live in a fast paced society that encourages workaholics. A life that tells us we must DO better, we must BE better. We must earn more, we must GET more. And at the end of the day stress takes its toll. A brilliant poem Kishore x
Thanks.👍
