Patience Is A Virtue

Patience Is A Virtue

Patience is a virtue and patience I have

So call me a virtuous soul

No matter how long I must wait for you

I'm prepared to accept my role

Goals that are lofty and seem out of reach

Need much perseverance and luck

Determination is what will always succeed

Let 'em know who's driving the truck

Things that appear to be worth the wait

Deserve more patience than others

Like the love of a lady you've dreamed about

Forever you'll wait to discover

Patience is a virtue and patience I've had

As far back as I can remember

Way back when I was just a toddler

Waiting for the 25th of December

Patience is a virtue, there's really no doubt

Things can seem really quite distant

A fact young mother's should teach their kids

Not everything happens in a instant

Patience is a virtue that is quite hard to come by in earnest. A virtue I have taken a long while to master and which still vexes me in my young years.Β

Lovely words as always!Β
