PAUL THE EARTHWORM

PAUL THE EARTHWORM

At the bottom of my garden he was first spotted
I immediately was hooked and besotted
He uses his skin to live and to breathe
Once I saw this lovely earthworm I was not going to leave

This earthworm has no ears to hear or eyes to see
However he is much prettier than that buzzing bee
I've been told he will live on average for at least three years
I have to be careful mowing my lawn with sharp shears

Earthworm I'm going to name you Paul
For you are the finest creature of them all
