PAUL WALKER Junkyard parts

We all wanna be people in a magazine
Strike it rich, make the scene
Die right now or live out our dream
Tonight I'm cashing in my rain check with you
So baby, I guess some do come true
I use to ride in them cars that only looked good
Now I won't settle unless there's something under the hood
I've paid the price for dreaming
But tonight we're saving up a few to believe in

You get this engine running
Running on a broken heart
Looking for a place to start
Running on broken parts

We drive that high road of Treason
Them losers on main street are always in season
From up here the world's problems appear smaller
Jacked up frames make us just a little taller
We sat back and watched our fathers hearts take the bust
I'd rather start her up, than stand to watch her rust

You get this engine running
Going on a broken heart
Looking for a place to start
Running on broken parts

Leaving, 'cause here they're foreclosing dreams
We always pay for them free rides, or so it seems
self-maid sinners and self-proclaimed winners
Hitch a ride back to reality tonight
In the back of marked cars, through the park
We burned this town down all from a few sparks

You get this engine running
Rolling on a broken parts
Looking for a place to start
Running on a broken parts

We'll ride it together, baby you and me

Ride the line of plans and schemes
It just might be a little hope, the hope that sets me free
Tired of living out a blind mans dream
They say men like me end up dead or in jail
There's only two lanes to choose our path to prevail
They built this town on favors invested in tomorrow
Now they say we got to payback a barrow
Running on fumes, running on fumes, fueling up on the sorrow

In the junkyard of your heart
You always find the right parts
