THE PAWN

The queen of everything
She owns and sees.
The pawn of nothing
Always begging please.

Throw him a scrap,
Thrown him a bone.
Throw him a stick,
Throw him a stone.

Use him up,
Then spit him out.
Ignore his pleas,
What's the fuss about?

It matters not
For he's just a pawn.
No one will miss him
Once he is gone.

He'll be replaced
With another tool.
One who won't know
He's a disposable fool.
