PEONIES

PEONIES

Talk to me
I still have ears
Though the left is deaf to
hurts and fears
For both are tuned to
pleasantries
These days

Look at me
I still have eyes though my
vision now
Reset to skies
and prettines
Those peonies there
Do you see
Do you see?

Those peonies by the window
there
Each tiny seed lavished with
care
And I'm thrilled with them
They flourish in my joy

Ah, of course you care
I see that now
But you trouble on the whys
and how's
You're hurt that I'm not
present in your pain

But I'm here my friend
I ever was
Though our star is split
an explosion caused
The one birthed two
And I roam mine in new joy

But I'm rambling here~
And you have journeyed far
All the way from a different
star
Take tea with me and rest
your weary head

Well, away so soon?
God's speed to you
I wish you peace
In horizons new

And please ~

Take a bunch of peonies
when you leave~
