Perfect Sun

Perfect Sun

The smeared rouge
of your mouth
that wounds the heart,
stories of flowers
and rain in your eyes
and the soft cloud
petals in your arms.

Your presence waits
like the night in
the aura of the stars,
where I meet your soul
the darkness and light
and the hunger that stalks,
a tiger in the dark
of burning ember claws
and silken bite
deep and taut.

Coming in waves
through time from afar
that kiss the shore,
slain upon your waist
upon your breast
and dreamer“s heart.

Over earth and water
your perfect sun
spring“s golden hue,
in your great eyes
the warming sun
and the cold moon.
