Perfection

An ounce of perfection would be nice
but perfection only exist in Jesus Christ
so i guess my best would have to suffice.
and think twice if you think your best is the best as in better than the rest.
im sorry but there is always someone better
and that is exactly why i want it so badly
and so badly in fact that if perfection was a weapon that fell from the heaven
and the rounds of ammunition where lethal injections
then i would dedicate a sections of the home of my recollections
to lethally injecting collections of perfection.
i would play Russian roulette with full clips
and pull until i heard clicks
then refill the clip and pull until my mind is sick and body forgets
how it feels to be imperfect.
i would sink my teeth in it like a serpent
and worship like a servant
and cover it like a curtain
and give everything like its worth it.
and people could try to curse it
and but when everything starts to surface
it all begins to seem worthless.
think about walking in a room and the fellas get jealous and the ladies get nervous
and you keep calm cool and collected when everything is so urgent
... man i just want to perfect.
