PET CEMETERY

PET CEMETERY

She has clawed her way to the surface, excavating the soil which she has hidden beneath for an innumerable amount of years...A sleek, pale creature illuminated by the naked moonlight, she frees herself from the fetters within her grave; the last few worms and roots that tangle around her delicate ankles surrender at last, liberating her from her wooden bed of decay...and OH! It is safe to say that she breathes a vengeance on this day! Before the breaking dawn her hands will lay around the throat of yesterday! Constrict she will, contrite she isn't; Contrive she has for years in misery. Beneath the earth, so close to Hell: a purgatory for her grudge to swell. Innocence buried, she's ingenuous no more. She has matured from a child, yet not quite a whore. Amongst bedlam and mayhem her conscience did sway, provoking resentment of sick macabre. How dare the townspeople gather, contrive: Together they plotted to bury her alive! She screamed beneath shrouds, her burial veil; she cried and she begged but to no avail. Submerged in the soil, amongst worms she recoiled; she cursed every hand lent in her brutal turmoil! They say the wicked don't rest, she found this to be true; black hate swelled in her chest, sawing her sweet dreams in two. Slumber! No slumber! The moon is hung high! On this night she returns, a Dark Horse she will ride! By the silver light shed through many hovering clouds, she proceeds to undress from her burial shroud! In a gown doused in mold, coffin splinters glisten like gold, her death wings unfold, her story is yet to he told...But as the Bell Tower chimes, a malignant warning of time, she climbs into the backdrop of a velvet black sky...Seeking the ones who left her for dead...Like the Wicked Red Queen, "Off with their heads!"...
