Poem -

phantom love.

Like a male dog marking it's territory
I smell you everywhere but here,

Beneath the moon I howl
Like a creature of the night,

Yet I am a flower un watered
Graced not within delight,

Your pheromone like a phantom
Walks the pathway unseen,

As I lay wilted within a dream

To be a landslide that caved you in,

Deathless, breathless, revitalizing
Counting the petals as I fall apart

Solemnly swearing
beneath my struggling breath

To always love you with all my heart.
