All I have left of you is this old photograph
When you were once my better half
Â
And As I gaze into the bathroom mirror
All of these lines on my face getting clearer
Â
I will do my best to take our breakup it all in stride
But how many tidal waves does one have to ride
Â
Lately my life has been nothing but tears
I’m hearing your voice echo all of my fears
Â
Guess I will be on life’s journey on my own
Walk for miles and miles till I get home
Â
One might get burned be careful where you touch
I loved you back but I guess that wasn’t enough
Â
Maybe you’ll look back and appreciate my love one day
Probably by then you will be a million miles away
Â
I will no longer have your hug and goodnight kiss
Drives me crazy when I think of all the love we will miss
Â
We were arm in arm in that old photograph
Too bad the good days weren’t meant to last
Â
Once we were happy with days full of bliss
All of those sunny days my heart’s going to miss
Â
I watched helplessly as ferocious tides turned
As all of our memories together just burned
Â
Going to hang that photograph on my bedroom wall
As I sit forever awaiting your incoming call
Â
No heartfelt calls coming in on my telephone
I Guess me and my heart a truly all alone
