Photographer - a poetic "who done it?" riddle

He proposed, she said yes;
They planned the wedding and bought the dress
All was ready the night before
But no one knew what was in store
No one knew where she went
They never considered a certain event
And so they waited until time ran out,
And started a search until there came a great shout
For there in the stream the maiden lay,
Victim of revenge, image of betray
A certain someone loved her too,
The one that nobody thought to pursue;
He stood invisible to the world he captured,
And with his jealousy, her death he ensured
He shot her once then fatally twice;
For a broken heart she paid the price
The power of jealousy, the sting of despair;
I beg you, my friends, be watchful and take care

Where's Agatha Christie when you really, really need her?
This sounds like a case for Columbo.
He always gets his man...or woman.
Good rhyming featuring an aabb rhyme scheme.
Thanks so much for sharing, Grace.
PEACE!
