Lie To Me

Lie To Me

Lie to me, please
The truth it cuts too deep
I’ve lived this torment of reality
And my mind is about to break
Lie to me, please
Tell me everything’s alright
As the tears stream down my cheeks
Let me live a lie of hope
Just for a little while
And when I remember reality
I’ll just run to you
For just one more lie
A temporary comfort
In a permanent life of pain
