Photographs

As I look back
at all the photographs,
My mind starts
to wonder.

How many have struggled?

If they too
hid their pain,
From those
they assumed
would never understand.

How relatable they would be?

If only people
didn't have to hide.
If only
they could share,
and help one another.

But this world
has become more
cruel with each
passing year.

So as I look,
I ponder,
and become connected
to those who may
have struggled like I.

No one is ever truly alone.
