Pi Day And The Ides Of March

Pi Day And The Ides Of March

Yesterday was Pi Day, today is March’s Ides;
The day that Julius Caesar, had traitors by his sides!
Cassius was just one of them, his most trusted close friend too;
The dying words that he uttered, “Oh my dear Brutus, Et Tu?”!
.
He was a very brilliant conqueror, but math not his forte’;
For he had not studied all the numbers, on 3-14, aptly called Pi Day!
If he had, he could have avoided, the treachery all around;
And the equation for his longevity, he most certainly would have found!
.
A word to the wise should be sufficient, “Know Thy Enemies”;
Study their numbers very closely, and avoid your tragedy!
Trust no one so completely, that they may stab you in the back;
Thwart evil with preparation, strike first, before they you attack!
.
.
                                 Know thy enemies
                   The false ones feigning friendship
                            Beat them to the strike

Dear Q,

Wonderful comment, Q.
History is a great teacher, but those who do not study it,
Are destined to repeat the same mistakes.

Peace and Love,
