Pick up the Phone
Next time you see the light of your phone,
before you hit ignore to stop the tone,
consider its a distant friend reaching out because they feel alone,
now its you with the pain that's grown,
you chose to ignore and not a care they were shown,
so it's tears that you taste at their too soon tombstone.
