Pirates Leisure

  • Sometimes the days blend into nights.
Sometimes the water just blends into sky, both equally gray with no line to divide them.
The waves beat the oaken hull, a monotonous drum echoing as a time piece...open water beats a man the same way , carving him down to raw necessity.

This passage way to treasure was no easy travel, but one he would make again and again...having seen all the wonders of the world , and having had a kings ransom in gold to call his own, there still was one thing that kept him searching.

Three more days would break before he'd see the light of the Harbour...a safe port..
He knew without questioning  , when he makes his way down the gang plank and  sets his feet upon that ground that he will be home...He knew when he walks up that hill he will see a candle in her window, a candle she had lit for him to guide his travels safe...
He knew at which alter he chose to worship...
For the moment he must wait a little longer, the best he can do is close his heavy eyes and dream.
