Pizza and beer

Someone found
By accident
On purpose, I don't know
That if you take the kernels of the wheat
Outside we grow
A powder is within them
As it's grounded up and beat
Mixed with seeds and water
Left for days
And you've made yeast
Add a little of this stuff
To more powder and water
Mix it up till pliable
Add cheese with some tomato
Cook it really hot
Making sure it doesn't burn
Pizza is invented
In a simple world of terms.

He wondered what would happen
If he mixed it up
With other stuff
He kept inside a barrel

Days at least
It could have been some years
He sat down in contentment
