"Planting Seeds"

"I'm planting seeds,
in everyone I meet,
for The Light of God and Jesus,
to lift them off of their feet,
and dwell inside their hearts,
so that majestic miracles,
in their lives,
are never far apart.

I'm just a lowly troubadour,
not out there in those streets anymore,
searching for ways and means to get more,
drugs to slowly poison and kill myself,
and hide God away,
on some old, dusty shelf.

So with my hand to The Father,
I'll go down to the water,
and cup it in my hands,
and sprinkle it on the seeds I've sown,
to help them understand."
