Will you if I ask nicely be my eyes for me 
For I am blind my friend and cannot see 
Hold my arm please and I will follow your lead
Please be my eyes that I so desperately need 

If you decline what I say that will be okay 
After all dear friend I've made it this far anyway 
Would be easier for me if you were my guide 
Don't worry won't ask again for I have my pride

It was then I felt our arms locked and entwined 
Walked together and thanked you for being kind 
Being my eyes is a lovely thing for you to do 
If I could see then I'd return the favour to you
