Poem -

Please forgive a mother

To my children I ask you to forgive,

A mother who may be overprotective.

Forgive a mother who makes mistakes,

And doesn't always bake cupcakes.

Forgive a mother when she shouted and screamed,

Things are not always as easy as they seemed.

Forgive a mother who isn't always there,

But always know that she will always care.

Forgive a mother who occasionally slept late,

She sometimes just wants to hibernate.

Forgive a mother who sometimes can't understand,

That a child doesn't always want to follow her command.

Forgive a mother who's just to exhausted to read you a story goodnight,

I hope you still dream of fairytales Cinderella or Snow White,

Forgive a mother who tried her very best,

Please remember you made her life so blessed.

Forgive a mother for she will never give up,

Forever beside you watching you grow up.

And when u grow older u may need her a less or more,

She will be right beside you as she always was before.

Please forgive a mother if she ever has to leave,

She would never want her child to ever have to grieve.

Please forgive a mother when god calls her to his gates above,

You will find nothing in this world greater than a darling mothers love.
