PLEASE STOP THIS VIOLENCE

To a central London mosque he went to pray 
The same as he did at the same time yesterday 
Today would be different he is front page news
A knifeman attacked him doesn't share his views

The attacker's blade lay on the patterned floor
Why on earth should he attack a person for ?
Dressed in jeans and a bright red hood 
Overpowered in seconds he was up to no good

Let's all pray for the victim of this crime
Something needs to be done in double quick time
An end to violence is something we all agree
Make the world safe for the likes of you and me
