I like to compose poems

words just pop in my head,

I do it when I'm driving

or when I'm in my bed

On my way round Tesco whilst looking at my list

i have a real bad memory, I'm sure you get the jist,

i write of real life happenings, the thrills the ups, the downs

about the things that make me smile or sometimes make me frown

i write of conversations and things that all folk say

i write them in the night time and sometimes through the day

but I'm only amateur and attempt to fill a journal

of lots of stories, art and poems
