POETIC PATHS

Ok ok I admit it
Poetically I'm an infant
Toddling down halls of words
Spoken by the greats
Treading timorously on
The penned stage of the acclaimed
Those Poet laureates of our time
And the Giants that came before
Perhaps now barely more than a crawl
I attempt pinnacles of versification
From the tongues of the masters
Words smiths of old
I will not forsake these rhyme strewn roads
Thorny with ire these paths of pith
Rocky with fact and drollery
Though mired in verbiage
But I have to say my feet hurt

Much love to you, and merry Christmas
- Nardine, aka deano.
Thank you for you encouragement and kind words.
My enjoyment much more the journey than the arrival I oft times find my self entranced perhaps fixated by a scene or a person along this path. Sometimes fear I lose sight of the destination while . Other times I assure my self the act of pursuit is a destination. I believe these master wordsmiths to be accidental not intended though not intention none the less welcomed this worlds aclaim.Â
Forgive me my wife says I ramble, itâs nice to have met another traveler on the verbaled path.

You are kind and I do appreciate your comments.
Travelers met on these paths of pith are all the more important because of the shared verbal miles, glorious and torturous as they may be, we have followed in the footsteps of the greats.
thank you for your words of encouagement along the way.
