Poetic Vows II
When I first met you
I decided to take a chance
As soon as we touched
Our hearts began to dance
I could instantly feel the love
I could instantly feel the lust
My heart swelled openÂ
And that’s when I knew we were chosen
We learned to compromise
We learned to keep our promises
We grew together as one
You showed me how to live
You taught me how to forgive
Holding each other hand in hand
With these rings, our journey has just begun
