Points of View
Wrapped up in my own world-
An introvert- but is that an excuse?
Not considering the effect of my actions
(Or lack of action)
On others.
Am I a bigot,
Certain that my own opinions
Are correct?
Well I try ro be less
Openly opinionated these days
On controversial subjects
Anyway.
Perhaps introversion
Is my biggest weakness
And as I write this
It dawns on me:
I often fail to see other's point of view.

You know what they say ~ "Self awareness is the first step...." and that can be applied anywhere, and into and subject matter......It certainly sounds like you are self aware enough not be very bigoted or lacking the ability to take action....after all...you're a writer.....and writers, by their very nature, are constantly taking action!!.......cool stuff dear poet brother!!.....ALL STARS!!.....a nice self-observation!!.......LOVE & ROCKETS!!.......T xo : )
