Pop Goes the Deceivers

Secure within these concrete walls
where truth gets filtered in
and power scrubbed 
to remove undesirable elements
reality gets sand blasted redacted
so our view is always crystal clear..

This ain't the place for moral ambiguity..

No shades of gray to be found here..

Cause those who question
the refurbished orthodoxy
get exiled vanished
lest they cloud
our freshly regurgitated narrative..

Cause it's the objective
of the thought collective
never to be burdened
with even a hint of thought process 
that could jeopardize
our precious opinion uniformity

Though deep down we all know
this fortress of ignorance
has always been a flimsy illusion..

When the alternate reality bubble bursts
soaked to the bone we will be..

Condemned universally
as the misled mutts of history
