I heard a story once ... it went something like this :-
A vicar, new to his parish, decided to visit 'his' Church incognito before he delivered his sermon. He wanted to see what the congregation was like. He was dressed a bit scruffy and was unshaven. He spoke to people but they did not respond to him. They acted as though they were disgusted by his appearance. Some even told him to go away, that he was not welcome in their church. They were horrified when this scruffy bloke climbed up into the pulpit and started his sermon. He introduced himself as their new vicar and told them exactly what he thought about their behaviour!Ā Ā
love that story Tina! and your words Robert! That it what grace and time is for, the allowance for us to practice being better and progress. Sadly some are headed in other directions. We all are a little hypocritical. Thus the "Atonement of the Savior, but you got to want to change!
