precious little thorns.

When you died I walked the streets
To escape each and every stare,
I wasn't alone , my shadow
Was ill compare,
I had become hollow
Bleeding left right and centre
But my shadow solid to the ground,
Every time I'd fall
It met halfway Down,
I had cursed time and forsaken it
dragging along memories of your love
in my mind I couldn't make it,
Where is heaven anyway
the sky once a grand old blue
resembling my insides
this depression of losing you,
I made it through the foggy haze
alone in silent violence my days,
longing for deaths reprieve,
wishing the cloak of darkness
would lift
smashing each tick tock clock
so I could breath,
I froze my tears to cut the glass
escaping disbelief,
our time in earthly heaven
Forbid by God was brief,
I loved you in my dying heart
the moment I was born,
and yet I love you still ,
emptiness reborn,
memories of You my love
forevermore adorns
wherever there are roses love
their are precious little thorns.

for my dying heart.
