Poem -

Preexisting blood stains.

My love, he and I took a walk
Down the boulevard of madness
Just the other day,
Holding hands insanely
Beneath the trees that sway

Remembering the heat
inside our love
The way that passion felt,

each subtle twist
like carving knives into our veins
our souls are one United
Beneath preexisting blood stains,

he is beauty dressed up in black
killer boots and cowboy hat,

and I dance inside each falling drop
of his breathless pain,

on the boulevard of madness
two lovers once felt to be lost
inside an endless abyss,

dancing in the pouring rain
reconnected within a remnant kiss

His soul dancing with me
My soul dancing with his too
The shadows of the past move onwards
there's nothing they can do.
