Prejudiced Public

Prejudiced Public

beautiful new colors,
that I've never seen before
My body shudders
At the thought of it once more.

Why did we come out of our playhouse?
It was better inside
Everyone thinks they're way to great now
Infused with treacherous lies.

Little boys and girls made out of clay

Trading each other's fears and hope
They spread their wings and try to fly away
But they're tied down with a rope.

They dissect us to see what we hold within
Then they act disappointed
Although they highly approved of our sins
We weren't meant to be anointed.

They want us to be blind
And make us forget our name
They tell us to hide
Our struggles and pain.

Everyone's being fed fear and sadness
Letting the world get dark and duller
But with the thoughts that become our canvas
We'll fill the world with our color.
