Hoping you will be OK.

Do I fight?
Drawn into the battle for your mind?
Trying to let you see
That there's so much more for you to be.

Will I see you?
Rescued by some stranger
Braver than I allowed myself to be?
Showing you all the good done for me.

Perspectives on a journey,
A story to unfold.
A battle to engage
Upon a bond that may not hold.
A shared passion time,
A friendship too good to waste on Life?

If I fail,
What will I lose?
The next time you are in doubt,
You will have a reference to be found.

In the end,
I may find another friend.
But I really will not mind
If your ways would change
So you could qualify.

You will have to choose.

Will I ever show you how it can be true?
