Poem -

Dawn too early

I saw your face across the floor
One last time
The hesitation of a moment
Let another cut in
And have the last dance

There's something to be said for silence
But I can't speak thereof
Making conversation
Never saying what I hope you thought

That last glance
Will there be another chance?

And tomorrow I am leaving
