Pretty Pink Frogs

Little Freddy Froggy
Was a special kind of frog
Rhyming off the alphabet
While sitting on a log

Every seventh letter
He would leap up in the air
And hope that when he landed
The log was still there

Once a great big gust of wind
Moved the log downstream
Freddy landed in the drink
Oh what an ugly scene

His temper started showing
As he began to mutter
Couldn't remember which letters
Followed one another

Just then a fairy princess
Came by and saw all the fuss
She scolded Freddy Froggy
For his temper and his cuss

She cast a spell and to this day
That's why all frogs are green
A pretty pink before this fuss
Now green for being mean!
