"PREY TO GRIEF"

"PREY TO GRIEF"

The dim lamplight
And the sound of the sea
 Phantom
 I could feel the blood
 Pulsing through my veins
The thoughts punding in m head
 Clenching with frustration

I was falling down
 Eveything that was familiar
 Crumbled into dust
 Tumbling on an endless journey
 Then all motionless
I was imprisoned in a void
 My wings broken and bleeding
 I couldn't lift myself

Suffocating darkness
 Surrounding me
 In this sepulchal world
 I was left alone
 Nothig left to do
 But be consumed
 This is perdition

It seemed like time slowed
 Just to spite me
All of my secrets and fears
Pour out of me like wine
 From a spilled bottle
How hard I hit the ground
