Pride vs Love

Pride only deals with itself alone
 It never loves like how love loves
 Love built
 Love prospers
 Love grows
 Love never dies
 Silly poem I'm writing
 But I know I'm only thinking
 Of one man
 One man I left
 One man yet I want to be with
 Risk life and explore it with
 Because of pride I walked out
 Left him trying to reach out to me
 But I was angry at him
 Furious that I felt not to care anymore
 Yes its okay to be mad
 But to burn the bridge down
 Was no right way to go
 I let pride get on the way
 Now I want to go back
 But I don't know how to get to the other side...
