Poem -
prince charming?
we are not in disney
if i have to be honest, realisticĀ
in a man i focus on his characteristicĀ
not money. i have never been into the materialisticĀ
i need honesty so will have no suspicions
a man who will at least minimum listenĀ
he needs to have some big ambitions
hopefully he is kind, with an own mind both combinedĀ
he should protect meĀ
be there for meĀ
support meĀ
i have been in this world for twenty yearsĀ
which gives me great fears
because i am still waiting for a man like this to appearĀ
maybe i have been deceivedĀ
from all the fairytales i used to read
that princes existed. oh how i believed

Beware of fairytales! They can lure you into a false sense of what is happy ever after. There is no happy ever after there is only moving forwards. Keep moving forwards and you will find your man...maybe for a while maybe forever ...and maybe forever has breaks in it.Ā

Oh fairy tales!! I love them but you are right it's not true of real life! However it's up to us to be true and realistic but still have that ambition to do other things! Brill write. But I would love it if magic existed!! Px
