Short story writing inviting the mind
To join her journey; the imaginative kind,
Hitch a ride on her paragraphs, hang onto her words,
Feel the lift of her gift, the literal surge,
The route, the adventure meant to appeal,
Leave you guessing the ending albeit surreal,
Her image in rhyme has a limitless lure,
Creative, innovative, related, as it were,
Curbs your longing for literacy,
Warming words felt intimately,
Pre-warning of daunting blasphemy,
Haunting inward imagery,
She takes her dog for leisurely walks
Inspired by sights and peoples` talk,
New lines, fresh rhymes, trains of thought
Roll right on track as indeed they ought,
Her ideas cavort, reach remote places,
Greet onboard unfamiliar faces,
Award them all with rampaging text,
Dramatically apt, grammatically correct,
She deals with calamities,  savagery and sin,
Paints pictures of horses; her equestrian 'thing',
Her profile is proof she has talent to woo us
Boasting in excess of a thousand viewers,
The public are hooked, easy fish to fry,
Taking the bait, poetically resigned.
