A Promise

Make your memories

and hold them tight,

for when you die

they will all take flight

no one knows for sure

where your spirit will go,

truth be told

you might never know

for there are many stories,

both old and new

that tell of a demise

so true and so new;

so say your prayers

and be thankful each day

for when it comes,

it will be Judgement day
