Promised Future

If I could find a way to tell her           

Expressed my dreams come true

        I could light a star in our sky

        Bright in scarlet blue

            Maybe then I can count on forever

                     Beyond my fate and final cry

                       Looked before by heavens eye

Then paths, clouds and golden rings       

          Would seem more real to me 

                     Towards a beautiful future

    Placed within timeless memory

So will I reach my own way

 Past these treasures and tragedies

  Within depths of yesterday

    And sing a song of no sorrow

      For no more death to tomorrow

        And the darkness that may lay

         Dies from our lives of proclaimed prayer

              Our promises together

                 Apart, beside or near forever
