Meeting a love that has left

Several steps that came too late
a girl no longer awaiting her waking
what a road where lines split
she walked neither, and just kept walking
Grasses lowered as footsteps which never sounded
settled below the bugs and rain
rain? that was always there and sunk her hair below her waist
this is a forest, her own law alone
this is the sound of thunder veiling
away our skies through it’s
prismatic cauldrons drenched below
the snow caped eruption of Everest's volcano
flies took nap on her sides for a moment
till branches broke from owls whose bright eyes
winged themselves away from sheer embankment
carried by the winds which flew away her violet bow
tied by the waist, rustling caterpillars on their daybreaks,
taken and rendered above the sky... shredded
by its wings too long for birds to maintain
ashes splitting by its glass panels cracking
breaking, awakening merely a blade of love as we knew
drifted by colorless liquid, love which swung and touched her own
bled her arteries, severed her heart and ruptured her spine
(still standing…)
swiftly, chanting rain and bark, swung like a boomerang
and cracked open her skull.
would she fall?
still standing painfully still.
tis is a love she knew was real
