Promises from another realm

What was will never be

What wasn’t will always remain

Heart of temptation

Brings with it summer rain

And I will ask upon you

A hum of the sea’s sorrow

Flirt with the pain of an aching heart

Crash down to Earth from the dreamscape

Now I tell to you

What was once told to me

Pain

Flower petals slip and fall

Horses of no name charge

Men of no country fight

Promises are made

And light will all but die
