PSYCHIATRIC ASSESSMENT

It was time again for the three monthly interview,
I was a skilled interrogator, probing for anything new,
the slightest slip and I would stick to you like glue,
they said that I wouldn't know, but they were wrong.

I would look for weight difference and skin colour, bloodshot eyes, twitching hands, you can't fool this sucker,
attitude, any difference from your usual bullshit,
sullenness, the way you move, dissect you - bit by bit.

Then it's the personal life - 'Everything ok at home?'
of course it is - how the hell would I know otherwise?
financial problems - nothing - I earn plenty to pay the bills,
It's only when I read the papers next day - this guy kills.

This guy fooled me - his expertise was considerable,
after he left me, piloted a a plane and killed 250 people.
