Puerto Rico

I'm remembering visions of me in a jacuzzi with an Uzi watching movies
I'm down in Puerto Rico with these cops back home trying to pursue me
Laugh now, cry later I suppose
I'm a fugitive on the run in this life I chose
I'm down here learning Spanish
I just up and disappeared..vanished
I haven't seen my momma in a year now
In the city of Santurce...with no fear now
On Condado beach tripping
Rum and coke sipping
I'm sitting outside pueblo grocery store reciting rhymes
Stories about this life of mine
19 with new homies now I'm hustling
I'm at the bus station in Old San Juan tussling
I'm on the wrong side of the law making enemies
Switching my name up to hide my identity
Now they got me in this cell calling me "Chop"
Puerto Rico jails be like hell...hot
They asking me questions
This shit got me stressing
2 months later I'm on the phone
I'm telling my lil brother I'm coming home
I'm on the flight back, I got to go
Reflecting on my life in Puerto Rico!

This is a good story to teach lessons. If you get on the wrong side of the law, you could end up in prison!
The poem is a good read, though some of the lines are much longer than others. This makes the read feel a little choppy. The reader never gets into a rhythm and that takes away from the pleasure of reading. A little work on the meter would make this a great poem! Anthony
this is a poem, not a song but thanks for your advise...
