Queen and Protocol

When an old king croaks

Impatient princess
Lonely is the throne
For the monarch
Is no more.
Even an old Queen
Knows better than
Barging on in
Replete with crown aND
Scepter
Little girl
Even the grave has protocol
You cannot get away
Even for one day
This reality sought after
By loony tunes and Kings
For the far dominate Queen
In unreasonable moods
Will get her own way.

Thanks Ictarus  you inspired this with
your work.  The tone is a bit sourcastic and a twinge of satire.. our Brit friends hopefully will enjoy. .
