Rage

So let the fire rage, an' ash fall as it will, Still you'll stand lit bright as fiery brand

Tae be a beacon an' sole guiding light, through moonless times, absent the sun

Nae longer one foot chasing the other, fae charred self remains

Once pains now comfort and solace replaced, held close as warmth tae heal

Nae more a soul for others tae pilfer nor steal

A Rogues poem, by Joseph Friend
