Rage for Angel

Rage for Angel

When you first came into my life, I felt the rays of heaven shine. Felt your soul merge with mine. I knew I'd been sent an angel.

So I tell myself, one day, if I'm true, honest and pray, in the darkest hours reign, the Lord will send you back my way -

~ Thinking of you now.

Wondering where you are.

Hoping you're alright, with paying my penance.

Thinking of you now.

Drifting pain so silent.

Trying to make sense, out of something senseless. ~

Winds of change blew us apart. Still feel your arms clutching my neck. Pleading eyes shine with distress. Oh Daddy! Stop this madness.

And I know wishes take time. I beg the highest court to find. I pray the guilty will be tried, for stealing an angel.

~ Thinking of you now.

Wondering where you are.

Hoping you're alright, with paying my penance.

Thinking of you now.

Drifting pain so silent.

Trying to make sense, out of something senseless.
